BACK HOME FOR GRINER

 for fb.jpg

                                              BY BILL JUNEAU

Busted in Russia as a "pot head" who hid illegal drugs in her luggage, Brittney Griner is back home in the USA.  The six-foot, nine-inch WNBA super star was released December 8 from a Russian jail  after spending some 294 days there for violating Russia's law against use and possession of happy drugs, many of which are legal in the United States.

Griner was deplaning in Russia last February 17 with plans to rejoin a team with whom she plays during the WNBA off-season when she was arrested.  A sniffer dog alerted Russian security that illegal drugs were in her suitcase. Search revealed a vape cartridge containing hashish oil. Subsequently, she was tried in a court, found guilty and sentenced to nine years in prison.

There has been both applause and criticism of the Biden deal by which Russia released the 32-year- old basketball star and two-time Olympic gold medal winner, in an exchange deal. For Griner, the USA sent back to the Kremlin, Viktor Bout, a high level criminal and operative for Vladimir Putin, known as the "Merchant of Death."

GOP leader in the House,  Kevin McCarthy, who will become speaker next month, criticized the exchange as a "gift" to President Putin.  Sen. Rick Scott of Florida characterized the Biden promoted deal as “weak & disgusting” ....and a "bitter pill to swallow."

Former President Trump weighed in on the exchange: "What kind of a deal is it to swap Brittney Griner, a basketball player who openly hates our country, for the man known as ‘The Merchant of Death,'" Trump posted.  "The Biden deal will forever be known as a stupid and unpatriotic embarrassment for the United States."

In prison for nearly 20 years, Bout was serving a 25-year sentence for weapon trafficking and conspiratorial activity aimed at murdering Americans. He has been described by Pentagon officials as one of the "most dangerous men on the planet."

Russia continues to hold inside its grimy  gulags an ex-Marine, Paul Whelan, who has served four years of a 16 year sentence for "espionage."  President Biden has been under enormous pressure from African American women to make a deal which would bring the gay Griner home to her wife, it was reported.

Illegal drug possession in Russia is a crime enumerated in its criminal code.  While Griner's nine year sentence appears to Americans to be excessive, Russians apparently do not think so.  They regard illegal drug use as serious offenses, much in the same way that the United States once dealt with the sale and use of illegal "get happy" drugs.  The allegations of "espionage" lodged and prosecuted against the 52-year-old Whelan, are deemed by Whelan and American officials to be Russian fiction.  "I  have no idea why I am in prison," says Whelan. "I am not a spy and I  committed no crime in Russia where I had gone for a wedding."

Whelan was arrested in December, 2018, in a Moscow hotel room.  He was employed as corporate security director at Borg Warner, a Michigan automotive parts supplier.

A spokesman for President Biden has said that America pressed for a deal by which both the towering basketball star and the ex-marine would be repatriated and brought home in exchange for Viktor Bout.  Russian officials said that both could be returned to the USA, but only so long as the USA arranged for the additional release of Col. Vadim Krasikov from a German prison where he is serving a life sentence for murder. Otherwise, only one American prisoner would be released in exchange for Viktor Bout.

Germany declined to release Col. Krasikov and President Biden said that he  had no authority over the German prisoner.  In the end, the Biden preference for release of the African American Griner, who in the past has upbraided the USA as an uncaring racist nation, overshadowed the concern to bring home the marine veteran falsely accused of being a spy. Whelan, who had served tours in Iraq,  has been behind bars for four years in a Russian prison.

Griner has complained of the  social injustices and racism in the USA.  At WNBA games, the super star has declined to appear on the court while the national anthem was being played.  In interviews she has said that the anthem has no meaning since it originated at a time when the country was intense in its disdain for people of color.  Griner  takes her cues from the former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick who called for kneeling at the playing of the national anthem as a demonstration of the mistreatment of blacks by racist America.

Stupid deals are not uncommon when orchestrated by Obama and the confused Joe Biden.  In 2014,  President Obama, and Vice President Joe Biden, now President Biden, inked an exchange deal with the bloodthirsty Taliban regime which brought home army deserter Bowe Bergdahl, who had been held by the Taliban for five years following his surrender to it during war with Afghanistan. Former President Trump had called Bergdahl a traitor.

In exchange for Bergdahl, Obama and Biden approved the release of five Islamic terrorists from their cells in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The five notorious killers of Americans promptly returned to the battlefield in Afghanistan.  Following the inept American pullout from that country last year, the five were placed in high positions in the "new" Taliban government.

MAYORKAS' DAYS MAY BE NUMBERED

for fb.jpg

\                                   BY BILL JUNEAU

Alejandro Mayorkas, the 63-year-old Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security in the United States, maintains a stone face as he asserts that "Yes, the southern border of the United States is secure."
"We are working day-in and day-out to enhance that security," he told Rep. Daniel Bishop during a recent congressional  hearing.  The North Carolina Republican advised Mayorkas that he  is a sure-fire candidate for impeachment in the coming year.

Speaking with noticeable pride and aplomb, the shiny-headed and slow-speaking Cuban- born Mayorkas told a congressional committee that, in addition to providing security at the Tex-Mexican border, we have scrubbed the word "alien" from all Homeland Security and government paperwork.  Immigrants, he said, are now referred to as "non-citizens."   Canceling of the word "alien," he explained, was done in an effort to demonstrate our respect for the new residents.
In the nearly two full years of the Biden and Mayorkas leadership, some 2.4 million aliens or "non citizens" have taken up residence in the United States. In the ranks of the "non-citizens" are criminals and drug pushers who have brought huge amounts of fentanyl, heroin and other illegal narcotics onto American shores.  Fentanyl deaths in the USA have hit a staggering number, as constitutional mandates are being ignored.

After fording the Rio Grande and dodging agents on horseback, or sneaking in through dense bushes and around rocks, and after being driven to the border by Mexican cartels, the interlopers are put up in upscale hotels and army barracks, and subsequently  bused or flown to requested destinations in various states--all at government expense.
Abortions are arranged for pregnant women desiring them.  Others wishing to keep their babies are taken to hospitals for deliveries.  Newborns immediately become American citizens, and are given shelter and all necessary care. Parents and relatives of the new citizen are tethered to the infant, and government assistance is provided to the burgeoning families.

No question but that Mayorkas takes his cues from President Biden who appointed him to head Homeland Security and to be his mastermind over its 340,000 employees, and the nation's borders; and to be on guard in detecting foreign and domestic threats.
President Biden recently visited the border state of Arizona, but told reporters that he saw no reason to take a first hand look at the roaring border waters of the Rio Grande river as thousands pour daily on to American soil.  Asked why he has never visited the busy border to see for himself what is going on there, the stuttering and bumbling President was dismissive of the idea.  "Other things are more important," he responded.
An Arizona sheriff commented that Biden's conduct was a disgrace, noting that recently it has been calculated that  18,000 immigrants are entering the USA on a daily basis.
Mayorkas' under-oath testimony before Congress is incredible.  Politics aside, is he operating under a Biden-induced fog, or is he simply obtuse and incompetent? Or
is he just a complete liar?  Does he meet with the president who appointed him, and do they chat about the Homeland Security department's mission, or do they just lick their ice cream cones and discuss climate change.
In the November midterm elections, Republicans became the majority in the People's House in Congress, while Democrats retained their control of the Senate.
Kevin McCarthy, a California congressman with the GOP, is slated to become the speaker of the 435 member House of Representatives and he has given notice that removing Mayorkas from office via an impeachment is on his to- do list.
"I’m calling on Secretary Mayorkas to resign,” McCarthy said at an appearance in El Paso, Texas, on Nov. 22.   “He cannot and must not remain in that position. If Secretary Mayorkas does not resign, House Republicans will investigate every order, every action, and every failure" for impeachment action.
Mayorkas has been a go-to Democrat for many years, having served as a United States attorney from California under President Clinton; and Director of Citizenship and Immigration Services,  and deputy director of Homeland Security under President Obama.  He came to America with his parents after the Cuban revolution.  He is a graduate of the Loyola law school in Los Angeles.
In September of last year, Mayorkas pushed the idea of creating a "Disinformation Working Group," which would assist the department in banning rhetoric which it judged to be improper and threatening to the United States.  The plan was said to please President Biden. Nevertheless, three weeks after the proposal went public, it was  identified as a "violation of free speech" and quietly scrapped.
In 2021, Mayorkas  promoted the allegation that  border agents on horseback had whipped Haitians crossing the Rio Grande while trying to climb onto the American shore. President Biden promised that the cruel agents "will pay" for their "outrageous" conduct.  Following a  ten month investigation, the agents were cleared of misconduct after it was determined that the horse riders were simply maneuvering in the water using the reins on their horses.

Though cleared of all wrongdoing, Mayorkas had the agents disciplined finding that they had used "harsh rhetoric,"  in deterring entry into the United States. Mayorkas' department found that use of the rhetoric constituted "unnecessary force" and merited punishment. The non-citizens were offended, according to the Homeland report, because a horsemen  told a Haitian that "he should go back to his 'shit' of a country."

One observer of  how "non-citizens" are being treated to luxuries which most Americans cannot afford, has noted that it is kind of an incentive to leave the country, sneak back in and take the gifts.  For sure, there would be no worry of ever getting caught.

LT COL VINDMAN'S LAW SUIT DISMISSED

for fb.jpg

                                                         BY BILL JUNEAU

When political plans involve a scheme to vilify former President Trump --but are found to be invented and without merit--- those plans are put into a "File 13" trash bin, away from the eyes of interested parties.  This is the going principle of the "Party of the Jackass," as that political entity was called in the days of President Andrew Jackson. Nowadays, it is the Party of the Mule, or simply, the Democratic Party.

I was reminded of that working  Democratic principle for handling a failed attack  upon learning that the lawsuit filed last February by Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman against former President Trump and his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and others, had been quietly dismissed for failure to state a cause of action. Vindman's dream of targeting the former President and his Attorney, for mistreatment of him and the triggering for him of a payday in the millions, was simply not to be.

Word of that case's dismissal favoring the former President, was kept as hidden as possible, but unfortunately for Democrats, did show up on some seldom seen news pages.

Back in 2019, Vindman was serving as  director of European Affairs for National Security, and had his desk inside the White House.  Along with his English, Vindman was fluent in the Russian and Ukrainian languages. He and his twin brother, Yevgeny, and their parents came to the United States from Ukraine when the boys were very young.  Both became career soldiers following receipt of  ROTC commissions in college.

As part of his duties, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was assigned to monitor Presidential telephone calls with European dignitaries. He did that and he became ears into the White House which made him a pet of Trump-hating Congressmen Adam Schiff, and Jerrold (Fat Jerry) Nadler and their aged and mean-spirited leader, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

After monitoring a telephone call between President Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelinskyy on July 25, 2019, the sober-faced Vindman twisted information he listened to, and had his version of the conversation delivered via a friendly "whistleblower" to Schiff, and Nadler and Pelosi; and it became the basis for the impeachment of President Trump by the Democratic dominated House of Representatives.

Essentially, the President had, according to Vindman, demanded and ordered Ukraine President Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden for corrupt practices in Ukraine when he was Vice president under President Obama and the administration's point man to that small European country bordering Russia. Refusal to do so would cancel USA plans to give several hundred millions of dollars to the needy Ukraine.  At that time, Biden's name was being mentioned as a potential candidate for President against Trump in the upcoming 2020 election..

Trump tipped the table on his Democratic foes by releasing the actual transcript of the conversation, and it was much different from the interpretation provided by the manipulated Vindman.  Also, President Zelensky contradicted Democratic accusers, and Vindman, and said that the telephone  conversation with President  Trump was pleasant, without any demand or intimidation, and that the subject of an American gift of money to the Ukraine was never discussed.

After a hearing, President Trump was found not guilty by the Senate and that concluded for the time, the Democrat's empty effort to impeach the nation's 45th President.

Because of his lying interpretation of the conversation, Vindman was reassigned to a do-nothing job in the pentagon and denied a promotion to to the rank of full colonel. He resigned from the army shortly thereafter. He had been a soldier for 21 years.

The lawsuit against President Trump was filed in February, 2022 and it alleged that Trump and his associates  pushed an "intentional concerted campaign of unlawful intimidation and retaliation against him for testifying before congress in 2019."  The suit requested "unspecified" damages.

On November 8, a few weeks ago,   Judge James Boasberg of the DC District Court, dismissed the lawsuit for failing to offer evidence which would support the allegations.

Judge Boasberg, an appointee of President Obama, wrote that Vindman was not able to show that the  defendant's worked together with a "specific goal of intimidating Vindman from testifying or performing his job." Statements alleging defamation from White House officials, he said, were insufficient under existing law to support a cause of action.

Vindman who reportedly has gone back to school in quest of a PHD  wants his attorneys to keep digging for a way to retaliate against the former president and clear his name.  President Trump has called him a "disgrace" and chances are slim that Vindman will ever be able to erase his description in history books as a liar and a disgrace to the army uniform he wore.

THE PAUL PELOSI ATTACK

         for fb.jpg

                                    BY BILL JUNEAU

The public continues to receive bits and pieces of the storied attack on Paul Pelosi at 2:30 a.m in his San Francisco mansion. The burglar and break-in assailant has been identified as David DePape, 42, who reportedly wore only underwear and swung a hammer which hit the 82-year-old Pelosi in the head.

Pelosi, who is a very rich financial planner and investment counselor with special political insight into legislation affecting the market, was batching it for the night as his wife, Nancy, Democratic Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, was away on political business.  Paul Pelosi currently is on probation for his conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol and is spending more of his leisure time at home, watching television and away from the swinging bistros and the wine country.

The intruder reportedly broke the window in a rear door and the banging and shattering of glass alerted Pelosi who apparently then confronted the home invader who yelled at him,   "Where's Nancy", and that he wanted to "bust her kneecaps" for lying.  He was inside the residence for some 30 minutes. At some point, Pelosi reportedly asked DePape for permission to use the bathroom, and the interloper said okay.  In the wash room, Pelosi kept a telephone, and he called 9-11 for help, he has explained.

Exhibiting no apparent distress, according to one report, he, or possibly a third person, answered the door and greeted the uniformed officers. (Persistent questions concerning the presence of a third person have been whispered about here and there, but that report has not yet been put to rest as fact or fiction.)

According to an NBC report, which the station subsequently deleted without meaningful explanation,  Pelosi backed away from the door and a  struggle of some kind erupted between him and the intruder whose presence then became known to the uniformed officers. The police were said to have seen Pelosi and DePape wrestling and witnessed  DePape hit Pelosi with a hammer. DePape was arrested and Pelosi was taken to a hospital where he was treated for a concussion and injuries to his hand and arm.  He was in the hospital for some six days.

DePape was arrested and charged with crimes under both federal statutes and the California Criminal code. Charges are for assault; burglary; attempted  kidnapping; attempted murder, elder abuse and threatening a public official. Currently, he is in custody in a San Francisco Jail.  Assigned a public defender,  he appeared before a federal judge who continued his case to November 30. He has pled not guilty to all charges.

The early morning home invasion occurred on October 28, some 10 days before the midterm elections and Speaker Pelosi said it was an act of militant right winger,  part and parcel of the GOP conspiracy to destroy the Biden American democracy. The story line was parroted by the main street media which takes all story specifications from Democratic party bosses and doesn't ask questions.

Crucial interviews of Paul Pelosi have not been made public, but Mrs. Pelosi contends that the incident may have encouraged some Republican voters to side with Democrats.  With the vote count in, Republicans have taken control of the House, while Democrats have retained their majority in the Senate.

Other Americans are struggling to learn just exactly what occurred in the Pelosi home.  Some are asking about the apparent absence of security which is programed  to protect the Pelosis.  As Speaker, Mrs. Pelosi is second in line to become President, and is deserving of protection at all times.

"There is a tiny possibility that there might be more to this story than meets the eye," said Elon Musk, who has recently acquired ownership of the Twitter social network, and promises that transparency and free speech will be the order of the day.

In the past, Musk has scolded Democrats for covering up the corruption and debauchery of the Biden family as a way of aiding Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

One incensed citizen was quoted in a Washington story: "I don't know what the hell happened at Nancy Pelosi's house, and I suspect none of us will ever know for sure.  But I do know that trying to paint a hippie nudist from Berkeley as some kind of a militant right winger is absurd and always will be."

Other theorists have opined that the window was broken from the inside and that Paul Pelosi or a third person ushered DePape into the home. Reportedly, Pelosi has said that he did not know DePape although the complete story of what occurred is murky at best and the transcript of his  9-11 call has not been released for public scrutiny.

DePape, an illegal immigrant from Canada,  has made his home for the past several years in a garage in Richmond, a San Francisco suburb.  At one point he worked as a carpenter.  He has  been estranged from family members for several years. He was said to be a believer in nudism, which might explain his going about in only boxer shorts.

He has  posted memes and conspiracy theories on Facebook concerning Covid vaccines, the 2020 election and the January 6 attack on the capitol.  A former coworker who was his  friend on facebook has described his posts as "phobic and filled with so much anger....He was very odd."

Last May, Paul Pelosi was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.  Because of Fox News' refusal to ignore the Pelosi arrest and his collision with another vehicle and to allow the political insider to escape accountability, details of the incident became public.  In August,  Pelosi plead guilty to misdemeanor DUI and was sentenced to five days in jail and placed on three years of probation.

As part of his probation, Pelosi was directed to attend a three-month drinking driver class, and to provide a breath sample before the engine of his auto could start.  Also, he was ordered to pay about $7,000 in fines. With those restrictions, sipping Bay Valley wine in the quiet of his home, may be for Pelosi  the more prudent way to follow court orders.

DePape is pleading not guilty to the charges against him.  If he persists in the plea, trials could be held in the state and federal courts.  At such, Pelosi will be made to tell the full story of the attack under oath, and whether he was alone at the home when the intruder came in, and whether he had ever met DePape.

On November 17, in accord with the results of the election, Nancy Pelosi concluded her 7th year as Speaker and announced that she will no longer seek to serve as a leader of the Democratic party in the Peoples House of Congress. She will remain, she said, as Congresswoman from San Francisco's 12th  district and the Bay area which she has represented for 35 years.

Ashley Biden's Diary

 for fb.jpg

                                                           BY BILL JUNEAU

Until recently, no one hardly even knew that Joe Biden had a daughter named Ashley.  Conversely, most everyone knew that the addled President has a son, Hunter. He's made a name for himself by blazing a trail of debauchery, cocaine addiction, sordid love affairs and corrupt practices while using the Biden name to make piles of money in deals with Ukraine as well as with Red China, Russia and various other nations.

                                         Ashley Biden

Ashley Blazer Biden is the 41-year-old daughter of President  Biden, and his wife, Dr. Jill, and Ashley seems to have left footprints of conduct similar to the activities of her older half-brother, Hunter, 51.  Ashley, it has been alleged, kept a diary of her activities and of her sexual dalliances and feelings.  She left that 112-page book behind in her room in a half-way facility in 2020 where she was spending time. Its contents soon found a way to the media---and publication.
Ashley and Hunter share the same befuddled father who has laid down an irrefutable record as a liar, plagiarist, hypocrite and a corrupt politician during his 50 years in and around public offices.  As they say, apples do not fall far from the tree.
Ashley and Hunter have both discarded or unwittingly left behind in unusual places personal possessions which are now revealing their back alley activities which evidence their  unscrubbed immorality and questionable parental guidance.
For big brother Hunter, a cocaine user who was booted from the navy for his addiction, it was his personal computer.  He left it behind in a Wilmington, Delaware computer repair shop. Apparently he forgot about it as he and his uncle Jim worked on million dollar deals with President Xi's administration.
The Hunter laptop, whose hard drive and messages got passed around before landing in the hands of the FBI, revealed  his passion for drugs, sex and money and how he and his Uncle Jim (Joe's brother) cashed in on the Biden family name; and how pieces of cash from contracts with Red China were earmarked for his father whom he referred to affectionately on messages as "the Big Guy," and "Pops."
According to Dailymail.com., Ashley forgot to pack up her diary when she exited the rehab house in Palm Beach, Florida. It was found stuffed under a mattress by another tenant, who saw the potential in the find and reportedly sold it to a media group for  $40,000.
Key parts of Ashley's diary were written in 2018, according the Dailymail.  In one she wrote:
"I have always  been boy crazy...hyper-sexualized at a young age...I remember somewhat being sexualized with a family member;  I remember having sex with friends at a young age; showers with my dad."  She noted also in the "showering with dad" comment that it was "probably not appropriate."

The buyer of the diary was reportedly a group named  Project Veritas  and  the seller and her boyfriend were subsequently arrested and pled guilty to conspiring to sell stolen property. Reportedly, the  prosecution came after the senior Bidens told police the diary had been stolen in a burglary.  The exact trail of the diary appears somewhat murky, but Project Veritas has said it never publicized the diary.

Hunter Biden's laptop was discovered during the 2020 presidential campaign and the prevaricating and stumbling Joe Biden said in a televised debate with then President Trump that the computer was Russian disinformation and pure political fiction.  His statement was not true, and he knew it was not true.  Attorney General Barr said later that Joe Biden was a liar, as the computer was at that time in the hands of the FBI.

President Biden has never been asked about the messages on the Hunter laptop or of the comments which his  daughter wrote in her diary, the existence of which has been verified by various authorities. There has been much speculation about Ashley's reported statement that she had sex with a family member and about her "showering' with her father.  The Democrat controlled media was never slow in demanding answers from former President Trump.

There's been plenty of talk about Biden's own sexual behavior over the years: rubbing and sniffing and pinching unwilling women and even little girls. On the more serious side, Tara Reade, an aid to Biden in the 1990s, complained that Biden stuck his hand under her skirt and attacked her sexually in a darkened hallway of the Capitol building. Biden denied the accusation, but has declined to allow a full examination of the records.
In 1999, the 18-year-old Ashley  was caught with marijuana, but no charges were filed, according to reports. In 2002 she was arrested in Chicago and accused of obstructing a police officer after partying in a near northside bistro, but the charges were later dropped after she apologized for her behavior.
In 2003, Ms. Biden received her degree in cultural anthropology at Tulane University and subsequently, she earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania in social policy and practice.                                                                            In 2012, she was married to Dr. Howard Krein, a plastic surgeon.

THE SPENDING PRESIDENT

 for fb.jpg

                                     BY BILL JUNEAU

President Joe Biden's $739 billion dollar  Economic package, we are told, will cost middle class taxpayers nothing;  and will beat back inflation and stave off any recession which is here now or coming down the pike.

The Congressional Budget Office responded that the Team Biden package will have a "negligible effect" on inflation this year and the next. It will however bring down the nation's deficit by some $300 billion over 10 years and that's being celebrated by Democrats.  But the deficit reduction news has to raise some conservative eyebrows.  In Biden's first year as President, the obsequious Democrat- controlled  Congress added $2.7 trillion to the nation's growing deficit. With that spending going on, a reduction of 300  billion is not necessarily a moment for celebration.

The rest of the gigantic package will rely on a tax increase on corporations, and on an enlarged and aggressive Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to generate the funds to pay for everything.  According to Biden, the wealthy will be made to pay more and the mission will be to preserve the American way and to fight climate change.  The big rich money grabbers must now " pay their fair share," Biden has emphasized while bending over a  microphone, grinning and speaking in his customary horse-whisper.

A few weeks ago, while the inflation reduction package was being processed by concerned Americans,  Biden signed legislation designed to eliminate student debt in full or in part, and have the nation's taxpayers wipe out the open loans for a couple million students and former students.  Cost estimates for that monstrosity are running from $300 billion to $600 billion--or even into the trillions.

The school debt forgiveness has drawn heavy criticism since the program has been put on the backs of taxpayers who may have already paid their way through college, or paid off loans or did not attend a university because of the costs.  The idea that students who have worked and sweated to pay back their loans, should now pay off loans of others does not appear to be sitting well with Americans.  It is anticipated that the loan forgiveness program will be challenged in the court on grounds that the dim-witted Biden is usurping authority which belongs solely to Congress.

As  America is limping along spending on one social program after another, about $45 billion in military and domestic assistance has been sent to the Ukraine for its war with Russia.  Biden says that the United States will continue its assistance to Ukraine for as long as there is a war, as the borders of that democratic nation must be protected from Russia at all costs. Annual foreign aid of some $40 billion to about 140 other nations presumably will go without interruption.

President Biden's concern for the Ukraine border is admirable, yet a bit hypocritical, as the United States has an  horrendous border problem of its own, which Joe Biden caused, but which he  declines to admit and repair.  In his state of the union address last February, Biden asserted that "if we are to advance liberty and justice, we need to secure the border and fix the immigration system." Since then Biden has simply turned a blind eye to the open borders and to enforcing laws which he himself had voted for.

Here in America, on the nation's southern border with Mexico,  many thousands of uninvited migrants are pouring in on a daily basis, their pockets often filled with illegal drugs and bullets and some brimming with ill will for the USA.  Since  Biden became President, more than two million illegal aliens, men, women and children, have crossed the border seeking residence in the United States.

No one really knows how many illegal migrants have even been interviewed by overwhelmed border security agents, but we do know that Team Biden has assisted tens of thousands of  unvaccinated and illegal aliens by chauffeuring them about on buses and airplanes to various states where they are provided  sustenance and shelters. In some cases, at Biden's direction, migrants have been given cell phones and put up in first class hotels and in military barracks.

Pregnant women are finding their way onto American shores after fording the Rio Grande river.  Those ready to deliver are taken to hospitals where their babies are born, and the newborns immediately become citizens entitled to all benefits of citizenship. Their mothers and fathers are welcomed as permanent and legal residents, and given green cards. Other blood relatives like grandparents may also be welcomed as the new family settles in  together.  Of course, abortions are always available in "abortion safe-haven" states.

America's budget for 2021, President Biden's first year in office, was fixed at $4.05 trillion.  Spending last year by  Team Biden  was $6.82 trillion.  The deficit of $2.7 trillion  was simply tacked onto the country's national debt, lifting that number to $30.8 trillion. That debt corresponds to a cost of $92,554 on the back of each and every citizen in the USA. The current year of 2022 with the Biden administration spending without reservation will drive the national debt up and over the clouds, with only taxpayers showing concern, and with Biden whispering his full approval for deficit spending.

In 2008, the national debt was around $9  trillion and Obama's social spending pushed it way up. President Reagan once gave his thoughts on the size of a trillion dollars. "If  you had a stack of $1,000 bills in your hand only four inches high," he said, "you’d be a millionaire. " A trillion dollars would be a stack of $1,000 bills sixty-seven miles high."

.            Physicians and mathematicians provide another example of a trillion dollars. For example, they say, if  you live to be 80 years old, your heart will beat about 3 billion times.  And it would take 31,688 years for a trillion heartbeats to tick away.

Biden seems fond of defending his huge spending in his usual safe harbor in front of a teleprompter, or at a news conference with his crib notes at the ready.  Not a single taxpayer earning under $400,000 per year, he asserts, will be paying a dime more in federal income taxes as a result of his  programs.   His talk, lawyers and accountants suggest, is ludicrous.

A former White House physician who served Presidents Obama and Trump observed Joe Biden in office as  Obama's addled Vice President.   Said Dr. Ronny Jackson, now a Congressman from Texas, "Joe Biden is cognitively impaired and does the bidding of his underlings like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.  At the microphone, he will follow directions from the mysterious little man behind the curtain.  He simply does not know what he is doing----and he is dangerous." Jackson has said.

The 739 billion package will provide for a  gigantic expansion of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). and that department will receive an additional  $80 billion.  Under the legislation, the IRS will hire 87,000 new agents augmenting the present staff of 93,654 employees.  These extra agents will be expected to earn their pay by bringing in more revenue--and the only way the IRS can bring in revenue is by taking taxpayers' money. Would anybody be surprised if those audits start showing up in the  under-$400,000 group? Some financial analysts, in fact,  are predicting that everyone filing returns needs to be ready for the IRS accountants.

According to news proBill O'Reilly, speaking on his podcast,  the new agents will be digging with vengeance into the tax returns of "mom and pop"  and small businesses to find those hidden dollars which the government has been cheated out of.

At present, Biden and the Democratic House and Senate are in control of government, and socialism, massive deficit spending and open borders dominate their agendas.  Republicans expect to take control of the House, and maybe the Senate in the coming November mid-term elections, and Biden's impeachment is on the GOP to-do list.

THE ILLUSION OF AN INVESTIGATION

 for fb.jpg

                                                        BY BILL JUNEAU

The commotion and fallout from the overruling of Roe v Wade is continuing, but for the "egregious leaking" of the draft opinion, the cap is still off the bottle.

Who was the leaker?  A clerk to one of the justices; a typist; a runner or a janitor?  Was it the angry sentiment of one of the two very liberal woman justices?  Chief Justice John Roberts has assured citizens that the offender will be identified and sanctioned as appropriate under the law.

After almost 50 years and 63 million abortions for any or no reasons, the constitutional protections for abortions have been canceled by the Supreme Court.  The  question of who can now abort her fetus is in the purview of each of the 50 states as determined by elected representatives.

A  firestorm of discord and protests came about last May 2 when a draft opinion in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was leaked to the media, and it foretold that Roe v. Wade was on the chopping block and very likely would be overruled by the high court's strong conservative majority. Seven weeks later, the final opinion in the case was handed down and it mirrored the draft opinion removing abortions from being a medical procedure based upon a woman's right to choose, and protected by the U.S. Constitution.

On May 3, the day after the horrendous leaking of the draft opinion authored by Justice Samuel Alito,  Chief Justice John Roberts condemned the betrayal of trust and said it was the first time that had ever happened in the court's 250 years.   "I have directed the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the source of the leak," the chief justice said in a statement.

The individual responsible for the leaking will be found and identified and dealt with, using whatever sanctions are available under the law, it was asserted. Roberts emphasized that court workers "have an exemplary and important tradition of respecting the confidentiality of the judicial process and the leak was a singular and egregious breach of that trust."

According to Mark Sherman of the Associated  Press, there has been only incredible silence from the court on the investigation.  Many questions have been emailed to the court, he said, but the answer from the court has been "no comment."  To every and all questions, the court remains silent.

It raises the question of whether the investigation has been set aside permanently--maybe the court has too many other more important matters to contend with? Investigations call for serious strategy and manpower, even possible lie detector exams, and perhaps the high court does not have the resources or expertise to conduct such an inquiry.

There are nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court and each has four clerks and there  are typists and runners and a cleaning crew.  Six of the justices are considered conservative and all subsequently voted to overrule the Roe v. Wade case.  Three other justices are considered to be very liberal and they dissented to the majority opinion. Some 70 persons might have had access to the drafts, the associated press reporter has speculated.

My guess as a lawyer,  who is acquainted with the rules of the Supreme Court and the trust given to those around those hallowed halls, is that the culprit who breached the trust is known to the Chief Justice and very likely to the other justices and the clerks. I suspect that there was a confession or an admission.  The clerks and typists have known all along who it was that most likely slipped the text of the Alito draft opinion to the Politico newsman.

For whatever reason, further stories of the leaked document and the "leaker" may just disappear like a strong wind.  The associated press newsman has recounted in an article that back in 1973,  Chief Justice Warren Burger was infuriated by the leak of the  Roe v. Wade decision  a few hours ahead of its scheduled announcement.  Burger threatened to subject employees to lie detector tests, but the leaker quickly came forward and explained that its release had been an accident.

Of course, the leaking of the Alito draft opinion was no accident. It could be that that  someone may well be getting a pass.

Clarence Thomas, one of the nine justices on the supreme court,  said that the breach of trust has irrevocably harmed the court.  "When you lose that trust, especially in the institution that I am in, it changes the institution fundamentally.  You begin to look over your shoulder. It's kind of like an infidelity that you can explain, but you can't undo."

DID BIDEN OKAY THE SEARCH OF TRUMP'S HOME?

for fb.jpg

                                                  BY BILL JUNEAU

Does anyone actually believe that Attorney General Merrick Garland signed off on the political search of the private Florida home of Donald Trump without getting a go-ahead nod from President Biden?

It seems unlikely that this latest in a long string of unsuccessful attempts by Democrats to discredit Trump could have been carried out without the President's knowledge. Though Biden is dim and slow in his acuity, he is president, and it is unthinkable that an  action of this magnitude could be launched without him even being aware of it, much less in charge.

He may not have known all details, but without a doubt he would have been strongly in favor of anything designed to emasculate Trump and keep him off the 2024 ballot.  Polls have shown that Joe Biden is held in very low esteem in this country and would be dragging behind Trump if they ever faced off again in a race for President.

As the head of the Department of Justice, and the guiding hand and superior of the FBI, Garland assembled the necessary players for the raid. Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI, was on board with his agents for the search, aware that his  resistance to the swampy plan  might cost him his job with Biden. Wray lined up a 30 member swat team for a full day of searching the Mar-a-Lago home of the 45th president who had appointed him FBI director in 2017.

After informing the White House spokesperson (with a wink in his eye) that the President did not know of the smash-and-grab search of the Trump residence, Garland  made a public statement that he alone  had given the necessary approval for the search.   He emphasized that it was his doing, and that all persons are to be treated equally under the law...and nobody is above he law.  Unsaid was his likely belief that it was his job to protect the senile Biden who made him the general.

Garland displayed an owlish-like look as he delivered a partial explanation for the warrant. Critical Republicans have described him as a "demented weasel."  Just be glad that he isn't on the Supreme Court, another senator has said. In other past controversies,  Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton and Missouri Senator Josh Hawley  have lambasted Garland and demanded that he resign. At one televised committee hearing, Cotton told Garland that he was a "disgrace" to the office.

Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill, and son, Hunter and his new wife and child, were vacationing together in South Carolina--relaxing on the beach and enjoying ice cream cones. Except for the presence of the notorious Hunter, what could appear more innocent and uninvolved to the public?

After the warrant was issued by a friendly magistrate who is well known for unbraiding Trump and who cheered for his impeachments, the search went forward and the FBI spent some 12 hours on Aug. 8 combing the Florida home and offices of Trump and his wife Melania.

The FBI raiders  rummaged                         through the home and loaded their findings into some 15 boxes which they carted away.  Nothing was overlooked. They broke into a Trump safe in his office, looked in every nook and corner, and left no stone unturned. Agents even pawed through the wardrobe of Mrs. Trump looking for papers that might have been concealed by her husband in her undergarments or in the toe section of her various shoes.

In the end and after tossing the house, the agents  collected miscellaneous papers, documents and photographs which were in boxes. and added them to other boxes. Based on a search receipt, some documents collected were marked top secret and confidential.  With the reputation of the FBI, who could say what already might have been in all of these boxes they played musical chairs with?

President Trump said that he told the Department of Justice two months ago after receiving a subpoena for documents that it could have any or all of the documents at his home.  He said that he had "declassified all" of them while he was still President, using a presidential power vested in him.

Informed of the raid while he was in New York with Mrs. Trump, the former President said:

"It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice system, and an attack by radical left wing democrats who desperately don't want me to run for president in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop republicans and conservatives in the up coming  midterm elections."

My guess is that most citizens will not swallow the story that President Biden was not in the loop and did not sign off on the search of his political opponent.  Biden will be unable to point to his own past credibility for telling the truth given his many years of blatant dishonesty and alleged corruption.

In truth, Joe Biden has been an inveterate liar during his half century in government---a U.S. Senator for 36 years; a vice president for 8; and now a President and Commander in Chief for going on two years. His record as being dishonest, and a repeated plagiarist as a Senator and before that as a law student is undeniable and crystal clear.

He will say and do anything so long as he figures it is to his benefit. Biden said that he was arrested in South Africa while trying to see Nelson Mandela and that was a lie. He said he attended Syracuse Law school on a academic scholarship and that was a lie; He said that he finished law school in the upper half and that was a lie.  As to law school, he finished very near the bottom of his class and students in the school with him have been quoted as saying that "Joe Biden was the dumbest s.o.b. in the school."

Republicans are geared to take control of the House of Representatives and the Senate in the elections next November, and the heir apparent for speaker of the House is California Congressman  Kevin McCarthy.    McCarthy has given notice that if and when he replaces Nancy Pelosi, there will be a wholesale draining of the woke-infested Democratic swamp and that impeachments of both Biden and Garland are Page 1 on his to-do list

PRISON FOR COPS WHO TOOK DOWN GEORGE FLOYD

 for fb.jpg

                                                      BY BILL JUNEAU

With unrelenting screams of racism, and a disregard for what is fair and right, today's woke system of justice has taken down three Minneapolis policemen for "abetting" their senior officer in the unintended murder of George Floyd, a drug addict and a hardened criminal with a long record.

Two of the three policemen were rookies, and one of them had been a patrolman for just four days.

Derek Chauvin, was the fourth and the senior officer at the scene of the Floyd arrest back on May 25, 2020. Chauvin was a street-smart  police veteran with 19 years on the Minneapolis force.  He has been convicted of the unintentional second degree murder and manslaughter of Floyd in a circus-like trial and has begun serving a sentence of 22 years and six months in  prison.

His appeal is pending and some legal scholars are  predicting that higher courts may yet order a new trial for him based upon the prejudicial venue and judicial error which dominated his five-week trial before an unsequestered jury in Minneapolis.

The three officers accused of aiding Chauvin in the second degree murder of the African American Floyd, have been found guilty of victimizing and violating his civil rights. Recently, Federal Judge Paul Magnuson sentenced Officers J. Alexander Kueng, 28, who is black, to three years in prison,  and Tou Nmn Thau, 36,  who is Hmong American, to 42 months behind bars. Thomas Lane, 38, was sentenced to 30 months. The three officers still face state charges of abetting the murder, but it is presumed that if found guilty their sentences will run concurrently with the punishments assigned for the civil rights violations.

After Chauvin wrestled the muscular, six-foot, four -inch Floyd to the pavement, Lane and Kueng helped hold him down; and Tou Thau concentrated on controlling the gathering crowd.

Lane, the police rookie of four days, was sentenced to jail in spite of the fact that he tried, but was unsuccessful in persuading his mentor, Officer Chauvin, to turn Floyd onto his side; and later Lane attempted to revive him using CPR. The judge noted in his sentencing remarks that he had received 145 letters of support for Tom Lane and that he "had never" received so many letters on behalf of a defendant.  He then went on to fault the Minneapolis police department for sending him and rookie Koenig  on the call that ended with George Floyd's death.

Judge Magnuson's comments made little sense in light of his outrageous and undeserved sentencing of Lane, Kueng and Thau, but was heralded by Black Lives Matter and the far left media for his coming down hard on police racism and white supremacy.

The woke-minded and maleable judge went on to say that Officer Lane should have jumped upon Chauvin and thrown him aside so as to free Floyd. "Mr. Lane, this is a very serious offense, in which a life was lost,"  asserted Judge Magnuson. "The fact that you did not get up and remove Mr. Chauvin when Mr. Floyd become unconscious is a violation of the law."

Earl Grey, Tom Lane's attorney, said that  "Officer Lane did everything he could possibly do to help George Floyd.  He had suggested rolling Floyd onto his side so he could breathe more easily,  but was rebuffed twice by Chauvin."  At one point, Lane actually performed CPR in an effort to revive Mr. Floyd.

"Any reasonable person should just be disgusted --should be infuriated  that Lane was ever charged," Grey said.  Lane's conviction and sentence to prison will be appealed to a higher court.

Reviewing courts have a lot on their plates. The sins of the four policemen could well wind up for a final decision by Supreme Court justices, given the many constitutional questions and violations which defendant lawyers have raised.

During the Chauvin trial, physicians differed as to the cause of Floyd's death. The amount of fentanyl in his system, along with the fact that his main arteries were almost completely blocked was enough to cause his brain to become deprived of oxygen and blood. Chauvin had held his knee to the neck of the muscular Floyd for almost nine minutes, but that action, had there been no Fentanyl and no blocked arteries, would not have deprived the brain of needed life-sustaining elements in the opinions of some physicians.

While detained by Officer Chauvin's knee on his neck, Floyd was heard saying that "I can't breathe."   However, when police first confronted Floyd, he was gulping pills and making the same complaint that he could not breath.

Policemen Lane, Kuneg and Thau took orders from their senior officer.  Chauvin made use of a knee-on-neck technique taught all officers and recruits in the Minneapolis police academy. The technique is not uncommon in controlling addicts and other suspects, and is used by many police departments throughout the country

Sending these three officers to prison is a miscarriage of justice in a country which insists on justice for everyone.  Appeals by the policemen to the state and federal courts could go on for several years.
